Terms & Conditions

Clients are responsible for their children at all times whilst the lesson is in progress, or they may nominate another adult/carer. Clients must accept that at times there will be physical contact between the teacher and their child, in a professional, caring manner.

Changing Rooms

It is standard policy that children over the age of 8 must get changed in their own sex changing room. Women are not allowed in the boys changing room and vice versa. Please advise grandparents or carers in loco parentis.

Refunds & Lesson Credits

Payment is expected prior to the start of the term. Short term sickness or absence due to holidays will not be refunded. If a child has long term sickness or sustains an injury preventing them from swimming then a refund will be given minus one week if their swimming slot can be filled. In exceptional circumstances, a compensation lesson may be offered. In such cases, each request will be considered individually.

Lesson Prices

At Sally Swim School the term will be approximately 10 weeks in the Spring, 10 weeks in the Summer and 12 weeks in the Autumn. When a class is booked, full payment is requested to secure the place for that term. Classes may be joined at ANY point by first time clients during the term. This is charged on a pro-rata basis.

Re-booking

Clients will have first priority of subsequent term bookings unless Sally Swim School has advised otherwise. The client must rebook by the date specified otherwise places cannot be guaranteed and maybe offered to the waiting list.

Lesson Changes

In the event of an instructor being absent for a group or private lesson, the swim school is within its rights to change the instructor to make sure that the lesson is covered, and no refunds will be given for lessons because of a change of instructor. In the unlikely event of a “last-minute” lesson time change, we endeavour to notify the client via email as soon as possible.

Lost or Damaged Property

All property left in changing rooms or on poolside, and all property (including prams) left in entrance halls or outside buildings are left entirely at the client’s own risk. This also applies to any property damaged during lessons. Sally Swim School cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to any personal possessions.

Medical Conditions

Clients must declare any existing medical conditions that affect the child and inform us of any significant changes.

Safeguarding Policy & Procedures

We follow Swim England’s Wavepower Child Safeguarding policy & procedures.
